Missing person alerts (MPAs) are a very common tool utilised regularly by law
enforcement agencies to request help from the general public in finding a missing person.
Although previous researchers have deemed MPAs ineffective in making the person depicted memorable, they continue to be used worldwide in their current format. The present study investigates the effects of narrativity and interactivity on face recognition ability.
