As well as publishing their findings (which you can search for on our Library page), some researchers also publish their research data so that their research can be reproduced by others, and the data can be analysed in a different way for further research. Below are some of the places where you can find these research datasets.
Open Science Framework (OSF)
The OSF website provides a search feature for finding relevant studies. There are several projects on “Missing Persons” and some contain the research data used (for example, this study on missing personal appeals on Twitter).
UK Data Service
The UK Data Service contains “the UK’s largest collection of economic, social and population data for research and teaching” and includes data from research on “Missing Persons“, including this study on the geographies of missing persons.
